قَدْ رُوِّينَا فِي حَدِيثِ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا كَانَ مِنْ شَرْطٍ لَيْسَ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ فَهُوَ بَاطِلٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِائَةَ شَرْطٍ ".
We have narrated in the hadith of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any condition that is not in the Book of Allah is void, even if they are a hundred conditions."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَى شُرُوطِهِمْ "، قَالَ: وَزَادَ سُفْيَانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: " مَا وَافَقَ الْحَقَّ مِنْهَا " وَقَدْ رُوِّينَا ذَلِكَ بِزِيَادَتِهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَعَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ مَرْفُوعًا.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خُرَيْمٍ الْقَزَّازُ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمُسْلِمُونَ عِنْدَ شُرُوطِهِمْ، إِلَّا شَرْطًا حَرَّمَ حَلَالًا أَوْ شَرْطًا أَحَلَّ حَرَامًا ".
Kathir bin Abdullah al-Muzani narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Muslims abide by their conditions, except a condition that makes the lawful unlawful or a condition that makes the unlawful lawful."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثنا أَبُو عِيسَى الْخُتُلِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَذْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، فَذَكَرَهُ. وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ.
It is like the previous hadith.
