أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَرْتِيُّ الْقَاضِي، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تُقْبَلُ صَلَاةُ حَائِضٍ إِلَّا بِخِمَارٍ ".
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of a woman who menstruates (an adult woman) is not accepted without a head-covering."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ نَزَلَتْ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ أُمِّ طَلْحَةِ الطَّلَحَاتِ، فَرَأَتْ بَنَاتٍ لَهَا، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ وَفِي حُجْرَتِي جَارِيَةٌ، فَأَلْقَى إِلِيَّ حَقْوَهُ وَقَالَ: " شُقِّيهِ بِشِقَّتَيْنِ "، فَأَعْطِي هَذِهِ نِصْفًا، وَالْفَتَاةَ الَّتِي عِنْدَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ نِصْفًا؛ فَإِنِّي لَا أُرَاهَا إِلَّا قَدْ حَاضَتْ، أَوْ لَا أُرَاهُمَا إِلَّا قَدْ حَاضَتَا.
Muhammad said that Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) went to Safiyyah Umm Talhah and saw her daughters, and said: A girl was sitting in my room when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the room. He threw his wrap towards me and said: "Divide it into two parts; give one part to this girl and give one part to the one who is with Umm Salamah. I am certain she has reached puberty," or he said: "I think both of them have reached puberty."
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَقِيهُ أَبُو الْفَتْحِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، أنبأ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أنبأ شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ مَاهَانَ الْحَنَفِيِّ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: " إِذَا حَاضَتِ الْجَارِيَةُ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهَا مَا يَجِبُ عَلَى أُمِّهَا "، تَقُولُ: مِنَ السِّتْرِ.
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When a girl menstruates, it becomes obligatory upon her to cover herself just as it is upon her mother.
