رَوَى أَبُو دَاوُدَ، فِي الْمَرَاسِيلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " سَيِّدُ السِّلْعَةِ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يَسْتَامَ ".
Ibn Abi Husayn (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The owner of the merchandise has more right to name its price first."
وَعَنْ أَبِي ثَوْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَعْرَابِيٍّ يَبِيعُ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ: " عَلَيْكَ بِأَوَّلِ سَوْمٍ، أَوْ أَوَّلِ السَّوْمِ؛ فَإِنَّ الْأَرْبَاحَ مَعَ السَّمَاحِ ".
Imam al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a Bedouin who was selling something, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Close the deal at the first price offered, for profit comes through leniency."
وَعَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَالَ: بَايَعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ سِلْعَةً، فَقَالَ: هَاتِ يَدَكَ أُمَاسِحْكَ؛ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْبَرَكَةُ فِي الْمُمَاسَحَةِ " أَخْبَرَنَا بِجَمِيعِ ذَلِكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ الْفَسَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ اللُّؤْلُؤِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، فَذَكَرَهُ.
Khalid bin Abi Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I sold something to Muhammad bin Sa'd (may Allah have mercy on him), and he said: Give me your hand so that I may clasp hands with you, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Blessing is in clasping hands."
