أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: " نُهِيَ عَنْ رُكُوبِ الْجَلَّالَةِ " وَرَوَاهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، فَقَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ".
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade riding an animal that eats filth (jallalah).
(b) Amr bin Abi Qays narrates from Ayyub (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُصَيْرٍ الْخَلَدِيُّ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، ثنا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ، وَعَنْ رُكُوبِ الْجَلَّالَةِ، وَعَنِ الْمُجَثَّمَةِ " وَرُوِيَ فِي ذَلِكَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ مَرْفُوعًا.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade drinking from the mouth of a waterskin, forbade riding an animal that eats filth, and (forbade) the mujaththamah, a goat that is pelted with stones until it is killed.
