وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا خَلَّادٌ هُوَ ابْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّ ⦗١٣٠⦘ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَدَعُ هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ فِي كُلِّ طَوْفَةٍ مَرَّ بِهِمَا الْأَسْوَدَ وَالْيَمَانِيَّ يَسْتَلِمُهُمَا وَلَا يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ عِنْدَ الْحَجَرِ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not leave these two corners, the Yamani Corner and the Black Stone, in any circuit; he would touch them both, and he would not touch the two that are next to the Hijr (the Hatim).
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: مَا لِي رَأَيْتُكَ تُزَاحِمُ عَلَى هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ وَلَمْ أَرَ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُزَاحِمُ عَلَيْهِمَا غَيْرَكَ؟ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَسْحُهُمَا يَحُطُّ الْخَطَايَا ".
Ubayd bin Umayr al-Laythi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "Why is it that I see you crowding at these two corners, and I have not seen anyone else among the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) crowding at them besides you?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Touching them wipes away sins.'"
