أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: اعْتَكَفَتْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ مُسْتَحَاضَةً فَكَانَتْ تَرَى الْحُمْرَةَ وَالصُّفْرَةَ قَالَتْ: وَرُبَّمَا وَضَعَتِ الطَّسْتَ تَحْتَهَا وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي..
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that one of his (peace and blessings be upon him) wives performed i'tikaf while in a state of istihadah (irregular bleeding). She would see yellowness and redness. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Sometimes we would place a basin beneath her while she was praying.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَا: ثنا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ.
Yazid narrates from Khalid and narrated a similar hadith, except that he said: "a woman from among his wives (peace and blessings be upon him)."
