أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًى يَخْطُبُ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدٌ أَحْمَرُ، وَعَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَمَامَهُ يُعَبِّرُ عَنْهُ ".
Hilal bin Amir narrates from his father, who said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at Mina delivering a sermon while riding a mule, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing a red cloak, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was in front of him, relaying his (peace and blessings be upon him) words (to the people).
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَلْبَسُ بُرْدَهُ الْأَحْمَرَ فِي الْعِيدِ وَالْجُمُعَةِ "..
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear a red cloak on Friday and on the day of Eid.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الزَّاهِدُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَسَّانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدٌ يَلْبَسُهَا فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَالْجُمُعَةِ ".
Hafs bin Ghiyath (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned the hadith, and in it is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a cloak which he wore on Friday and on the two Eids.
