أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، خَالَتِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ " رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ.
Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on a small mat.
أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، ثنا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْتِي أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ فَيَقِيلُ عِنْدَهَا وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى نِطَعٍ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الْعَرَقِ فَتَتَّبِعَ الْعَرَقَ مِنَ النِّطَعِ فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي الْقَوَارِيرِ مَعَ الطِّيبِ، وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ ".
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take his midday rest at the house of Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray on a mat. He (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sweat a great deal. Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) would collect the sweat from the mat and put it in a bottle of perfume, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray on the mat.
