Mansur (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) about "Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration" [Surah al-Fath: 29]: Does it mean the marks of prostration on a person's face? He said: No! One of them may have something like a goat's knee between his eyes while he is as Allah wills, meaning evil; rather, it is humility (khushu').
