Then he mentioned the complete hadith.

None can withhold what You give, and the greatness of one possessed of greatness is of no benefit to him before You."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rifa'ah bin Rafi' al-Zuraqi (may Allah be pleased with him): One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head from bowing and said 'Sami'allahu liman hamidah', a man behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Rabbana wa lakal-hamd, hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih' (Our Lord, and to You belongs all praise, abundant, pure and blessed praise). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) said the salam, he asked: "Who was the one who said these words?" The man said: O Messenger of Allah, it was I. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw more than thirty angels racing one another (to record its reward), each wanting to be the first to write it down."

(a) Mu'adh bin Rifa'ah al-Ansari narrates from his father Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). During the prayer he sneezed and said: 'Alhamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi, mubarakan alayhi kama yuhibbu rabbuna wa yarda' (All praise belongs to Allah, abundant, pure and blessed praise, such as our Lord loves). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished leading the prayer, he asked: "Who was the one who spoke during the prayer?" Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I became frightened by his (peace and blessings be upon him) asking this, and I wished that, rather than having attended that prayer, a large part of my wealth had been lost, for I would not have regretted that as much as speaking in the prayer. Anyway, I said: O Messenger of Allah, it was I. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What words did you say?" I said: 'Alhamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi kama yuhibbu rabbuna wa yarda' (All praise belongs to Allah, abundant, pure and blessed praise, such as our Lord loves and is pleased with). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, more than thirty angels were racing one another to ascend with its reward."
(b) It is reported from Amir bin Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a young man of the Ansar sneezed during the prayer and said such-and-such; then he mentioned a similar hadith.
