Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I used to comb the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while I was menstruating. (b) Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) took as evidence the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning the menstrual blood of a menstruating woman that gets on her garment, that "it should be washed," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not order the whole garment to be washed. There is no doubt about the sweat in it. This hadith has already passed in several places.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Hand me the mat." She said: I am menstruating. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your menstruation is not in your hand." So I handed it to him (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from al-A'mash (may Allah have mercy on him) with the same chain, with the addition: "Hand me the mat from the mosque," and without the words 'so I handed it to him.'

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to take the ritual bath for janabah from a single vessel, our hands alternating (in taking water). (b) Imam al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated it from al-Qa'nabi. (c) In the narration of Aflah there is the addition: our hands would meet. In our view, the meaning of the words 'takhtalifu aydina fihi' (our hands alternated in it) is that both of them would put their hands into the vessel to take water.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked about a man who puts his hand into the vessel while he is junub. She (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Nothing makes water impure, but he should first wash his hand. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to bathe together from a single vessel."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say: There is no harm in the sweat of a menstruating woman or a junub man on clothes.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would take the ritual bath for janabah, then come to me while I was junub, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would warm himself with me.
(b) Hurayth bin Abi Matar alone narrated it, and this is questionable. (c) A brief narration from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is transmitted through another weak chain.
