أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، وَإِعْفَاءُ اللِّحْيَةِ، وَالسِّوَاكُ، وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقُ بِالْمَاءِ، وَقَصُّ الْأَظْفَارِ، وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ، وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ، وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ، وَانْتِقَاصُ الْمَاءِ يَعْنِي الِاسْتِنْجَاءَ بِالْمَاءِ ". قَالَ زَكَرِيَّا: قَالَ مُصْعَبٌ: " وَنَسِيتُ الْعَاشِرَةَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ الْمَضْمَضَةَ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ وَكِيعٍ، وَذَكَرَ فِيهِ يَعْنِي الِاسْتِنْجَاءَ بِالْمَاءِ.
(a) Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ten things are part of the fitrah (natural disposition): trimming the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the miswak, sniffing water into the nose, cutting the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the armpit hair, shaving the pubic hair, and cleaning oneself with water (istinja)." Zakariyya, the narrator, says that Mus'ab said: I have forgotten the tenth; perhaps it is rinsing the mouth.

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو صَادِقٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: الْمَضْمَضَةُ، وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقُ، وَالسِّوَاكُ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ، وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ، وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ، وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ، وَالِانْتِضَاحُ بِالْمَاءِ، وَالْخِتَانُ ".
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ten things are part of the fitrah (natural disposition): rinsing the mouth, sniffing water into the nose, using the miswak, trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hair, shaving the pubic hair, washing the finger joints, sprinkling water, and circumcision."
