أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَي أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ، أَخَذَ ⦗٨٩⦘ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ فَتَمَضْمَضَ بِهَا وَاسْتَنْثَرَ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً فَجَعَلَ بِهَا هَكَذَا يَعْنِي: أَضَافَهَا إِلَى يَدِهِ الْأُخْرَى، فَغَسَلَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ فَغَسَلَ بِهَا يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ فَغَسَلَ بِهَا يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ، ثُمَّ رَشَّ عَلَى رِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى حَتَّى غَسَلَهَا، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً أُخْرَى فَغَسَلَ بِهَا رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَعْنِي يَتَوَضَّأُ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he performed ablution and washed his face: he took a handful of water, rinsed his mouth with it and blew his nose; then he took another handful and did like this, that is, he poured it into his other hand. Then he washed his face with it; then he took a handful of water and washed his right hand with it; then he took a handful of water and washed his left hand; then he wiped his head; then he took a handful of water and sprinkled it on his right foot, washing it; then he took another handful of water and washed his left foot. Then he said: This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution.
