It is narrated from al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was urging his mount on and saying: "Toward You they run, anxious and distressed, and its strong ones; its religion is contrary to the religion of the Christians."
Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) used to urge his mount on very fast; he took this practice from Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that is, urging the mount on in the valley of Muhassir.
