أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " أَضْلَلْتُ بَعِيرًا لِي فَذَهَبْتُ أَطْلُبُهُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفًا بِعَرَفَةَ فَقُلْتُ: هَذَا وَاللهِ مِنَ الْحُمْسِ مَا شَأْنُهُ؟ "، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ.
Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the Day of Arafah my camel went missing, so I went out to look for it. I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) standing at Arafah, and I said: By Allah, he is one of the Hums; what is the matter with him?
