Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I like that whenever a person comes level with the Black Stone he says the takbir, and that during his ramal he says: 'Allahumma ij'alhu hajjan mabruran, wa dhanban maghfuran, wa sa'yan mashkuran' (O Allah, make it an accepted Hajj, a forgiven sin and an appreciated effort), and in the remaining four rounds he says: 'Allahumma ighfir warham, wa tajawaz 'amma ta'lam, innaka anta al-a'azzu al-akram' (O Allah, forgive and have mercy, and overlook what You know; You are the Most Mighty, the Most Generous), "Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." [Surah al-Baqarah: 201]
