أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عِيسَى، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، وَهُوَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " دَخَلْنَا مَكَّةَ عِنْدَ ارْتِفَاعِ الضُّحَى، فَأَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَابَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَنَاخَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَبَدَأَ بِالْحَجَرِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ، وَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ بِالْبُكَاءِ ثُمَّ رَمَلَ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا حَتَّى فَرَغَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَبَّلَ الْحَجَرَ وَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَيْهِ وَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: We entered Makkah when the forenoon was well advanced. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the door of the mosque and made his camel kneel, then entered the mosque and began with the Black Stone, touching it, and his eyes (peace and blessings be upon him) overflowed with tears. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) jogged three circuits and walked four, until, when he had finished, he kissed the Black Stone, placed his hands on it and wiped his face with them.
