أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، سَمِعَ عَمْرًا، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَخَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ وَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَادْفِنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ، وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ؛ فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَبْعَثُهُ وَهُوَ يُهِلُّ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ،.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey when a man fell from his mount, broke his neck and died while he was in the state of ihram. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wash him with water and lote-tree leaves, bury him in his own two garments, and do not cover his head. Indeed, Allah will raise him in the state of reciting the talbiyah."
