Abu Hajib narrates from a Companion of the Messenger (may Allah be pleased with him) who belonged to the tribe of Banu Ghifar that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man to purify himself with the water left over from a woman's ablution.
(b) Imam Muhammad bin Isma'il al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Abu Hajib Sawadah bin Asim al-Anazi is counted among the Basrans, and he is also called al-Ghifari. In my view, his narrating from al-Hakam bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) is not authentic.
Imam al-Bayhaqi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It has reached me from Abu Isa al-Tirmidhi (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: I asked Muhammad bin Isma'il al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) about this hadith, and he said: The narration of Abu Hajib from al-Hakam bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) is not authentic.
(c) Ali bin Umar al-Hafiz (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Abu Hajib's name is Sawadah bin Asim, and there is disagreement about it. Imran bin Hudayr and Ghazwan bin Jurayj al-Sadusi narrate it from him as mawquf (stopping at the Companion), as the statement of al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him), not as marfu' (attributed) to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
