Chapter: The muhrim does not marry, nor does he arrange a marriage for another
Bayhaqi 9164 — The muhrim does not marry, nor does he arrange
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، أنبأ أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ هُوَ ابْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: لَا يَنْكِحِ الْمُحْرِمُ فَإِنْ نَكَحَ رُدَّ نِكَاحُهُ.
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The muhrim (one in the state of ihram) should not marry; if he does marry, his marriage will be rejected.
