أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ سَعِيدٌ، عَنِ ⦗٨٤⦘ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ إِذْ جَاءَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ نِسَاءِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الدَّارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا تَمْلِكُ، فَقَالَتْ لَهَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّ ابْنَتِي فُلَانَةُ حَلَفَتْ أَنْ لَا تَلْبَسَ حُلِيَّهَا فِي الْمَوْسِمِ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: قُولِي لَهَا إِنَّ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تُقْسِمُ عَلَيْكِ إِلَّا لَبِسْتِ حُلِيَّكِ كُلَّهُ.
Safiyyah bint Shaybah (may Allah have mercy on her) said: I was with Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) when a woman from Banu Abd al-Dar, who was called Tamlik, came. She said: "O Mother of the Believers! My daughter so-and-so has sworn that she will not wear her jewellery during the season (of Hajj)." Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Tell her that the Mother of the Believers adjures you to wear your jewellery."
