أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دُرُسْتُوَيْهِ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ كِلَانَا جُنُبٌ وَيُخْرِجُ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ، وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَيَأْمُرُنِي فَأَتَّزِرُ، ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُنِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ ". رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ.
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to bathe from a single vessel while we were both in a state of major ritual impurity. While in i'tikaf, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would put his head out of the mosque and I, though menstruating, would wash his (peace and blessings be upon him) head. He would order me and I would tie on a waist-wrap, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would embrace me (lie beside me) while I was menstruating.
