وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: " الْمُحْرِمَةُ تَلْبَسُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ مَا شَاءَتْ إِلَّا ثَوْبًا مَسَّهُ وَرْسٌ، أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٌ وَلَا تَتَبَرْقَعُ، وَلَا تَلَثَّمُ وَتُسْدِلُ الثَّوْبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا إِنْ شَاءَتْ ".
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that a woman in ihram may wear whatever clothes she wishes, except a garment touched by wars or saffron, and she should wear neither a burqa nor a face veil, and if she wishes she may let a cloth hang down over her face.
