وَقَدْ قِيلَ فِي هَذَا، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَضْحَى يَوْمًا مُلَبِّيًا حَتَّى ⦗٦٨⦘ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ غَرَبَتْ بِذُنُوبِهِ، فَعَادَ كَمَا وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ إِمْلَاءً، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخَيَّاطُ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَهُ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any believer who keeps reciting the talbiyah from sunrise until sunset, his sins also come to an end with the setting of the sun, until he becomes as he was when his mother gave birth to him."
