Nafi' said: When Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to Dhu al-Hulayfah, he would order his mount to be saddled, and it would be saddled; then he would pray the morning prayer and mount it, and when it stood upright, he would face the qiblah and say the talbiyah. Then he would keep saying it until he reached the Haram, where he would stop; then when he came to Dhu Tuwa, he would spend the night there and pray the morning prayer there, then take a ritual bath (ghusl), and he held that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had done exactly this.
