باب: من اختار الركوب لما فيه من زيادة النفقة والإجمام للدعاء وأن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حج راكبا والخير في كل ما صنع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يَحُجُّ عَلَى رَحْلٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ شَحِيحًا وَحَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَّ عَلَى رَحْلٍ وَكَانَتْ زَامِلَتَهُ. ⦗٥٤٤⦘ أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ فَقَالَ: وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) used to perform Hajj on a mount, and he was not miserly, and he narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also performed Hajj on a mount, and that same mount also carried his baggage.
