Bayhaqi 8555 — Encouragement to seek it on the twenty-seventh night
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ: " لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ". وَقَفَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ وَرَفَعَهُ مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ.
Mutarrif narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Laylat al-Qadr is the twenty-seventh night."
