وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أنبأ يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْجَلَ النَّاسِ إِفْطَارًا، وَأَبْطَأَهُمْ سُحُورًا ".
Amr bin Maymun (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) were the quickest of people in breaking the fast and the latest of them in taking the pre-dawn meal (suhur).
