أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَنْبَأََ أَحْمَدُ، أنبأ إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمُبَاشَرَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ فَرَخَّصَ لَهُ، وَأَتَاهُ آخَرُ فَسَأَلَهُ فَنَهَاهُ، فَإِذَا الَّذِي رَخَّصَ لَهُ شَيْخٌ، وَالَّذِي نَهَاهُ شَابٌّ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about intimate contact (mubasharah) for the fasting person, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him a concession. Then another man came and also asked, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade him. The one to whom he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the concession was an old man, and the one whom he forbade was a young man.
