أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْفَامِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ ⦗٣٥٥⦘ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ أَوْ لِرَجُلٍ: " صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ شَعْبَانَ شَيْئًا؟ " قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: " فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ هَدَّابِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ.
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him or to another person: "Have you fasted at the end of Sha'ban?" He said: No. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you break your fast, then fast two days."
