أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، وَغَيْرُهُ، قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ ⦗٢٧٢⦘ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَضَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى مِمَنْ تُمَوِّنُونَ.
Ja'far bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "made sadaqat al-fitr obligatory upon every slave and free person, male and female, among those whom you provide for."
