وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو يَعْلَى، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: صَدَقَةُ الْفِطْرِ لَمْ يَشُكَّ، وَقَالَ: مِنَ التَّمْرِ عَامًا، وَزَادَ قَالَ: وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يُعْطِيهَا إِذَا قَعَدَ الَّذِينَ يَقْبَلُونَهَا، وَكَانُوا يَقْعُدُونَ قَبْلَ الْفِطْرِ يَوْمًا أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَارِمٍ وَرَوَاهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، فَقَالَ: عَلَى الْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى، وَبِمَعْنَاهُ رَوَاهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَالضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ.
Abu al-Rabi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates this same hadith from Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) with the same chain, except that he said "sadaqat al-fitr" without expressing any doubt, and he said: "of dates, one year." He also added: Abdullah used to give it when those who received it sat (to collect it), and they used to sit a day or two before the Fitr.
