Bayhaqi 7593 — What is taken from the sea, such as ambergris
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، وَغَيْرُهُ قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَيْسَ فِي الْعَنْبَرِ زَكَاةٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ دَسَرَهُ الْبَحْرُ "..
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: There is no zakah on ambergris, for it is something that the sea has cast out.
