Bayhaqi 7542 — Those who said there is no zakah on jewellery
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُحَلِّي بَنَاتِهَا الذَّهَبَ وَلَا تُزَكِّيهِ نَحْوًا مِنْ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفًا.
Sayyidah Fatimah bint al-Mundhir (may Allah have mercy on her) said that Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) used to adorn her daughters with gold jewelry and did not pay zakah on it, and it was around fifty thousand.
