باب: الذمي يسلم وعلى أرضه خراج هو بدل عن الجزية فيسقط عنه الخراج كما يسقط عنه جزية الرءوس.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أنَّهُ قَالَ فِي أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ: " لَهُمْ مَا أَسْلَمُوا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَعَبِيدِهِمْ وَدِيَارِهِمْ وَأَرْضِهِمْ وَمَاشِيَتِهِمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهِ إِلَّا صَدَقَةٌ ".
Sulayman bin Buraydah narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said about the dhimmis (non-Muslim subjects): "For them it is that if they accept Islam, then on their wealth, slaves, homes, land and livestock there is only zakah."
