أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِأَبِي الشَّيْخِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا يُونُسُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ بْنَ سَهْلٍ يُحَدِّثُنَا فِي مَجْلِسِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: " مَضَتِ السُّنَّةُ أَنْ لَا تُؤْخَذَ الزَّكَاةُ مِنْ نَخْلٍ وَلَا عِنَبٍ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ خَرْصُهَا خَمْسَةَ أَوْسُقٍ. قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: وَلَا نَعْلَمُ يُخْرَصُ مِنَ الثَّمَرِ إِلَّا التَّمْرُ وَالْعِنَبُ.
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah bin Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) stated in the gathering of Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Sunnah has been established that zakah is not to be collected from dates and grapes until their estimate reaches five wasq. Al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I have not known any produce to be estimated except dates and grapes.
