وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ زَيْدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَلَوِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُنَيْنِ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ طَهْمَانَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَامِرٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ وَالْأَوْعِيَةَ وَزِيَارَةَ الْقُبُورِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ إِذْنَهُ فِيهَا بِطُولِهِ قَالَ: " وَكُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي فَزُورُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُرِقُّ الْقَلْبَ وَتُدْمِعُ الْعَيْنَ وَتُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ فَزُورُوا وَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا " وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَمْرٍو.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, and he mentioned the meat of sacrificial animals, vessels and visiting graves; then he mentioned his permission for all of them. In a hadith it is: "I used to forbid you from visiting graves, then it became clear to me (otherwise); so visit them, for they soften the heart, make the eyes shed tears and remind of the Hereafter. So visit them, but do not wail."
