أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الزَّوْزَنِيُّ، أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَأنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْبَلْخِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ثنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا عَقْرَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: كَانُوا يَعْقِرُونَ عِنْدَ الْقَبْرِ. يَعْنِي بَقَرَةً أَوْ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَذْكُرِ الزَّوْزَنِيُّ قَوْلَ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no 'aqr (slaughtering at the grave) in Islam." Abd al-Razzaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says: They (the Arabs) used to perform 'aqr at the grave, that is, slaughter a cow or the like.
