أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا مُسْلِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامٌ قَالَ: وَأنبأ أَحْمَدُ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا عَمْرٌو، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدِّيقِ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: شَهِدْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ وَوَضَعَ مَيِّتًا فِي قَبْرِهِ فَقَالَ: " بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مَرْفُوعًا بِزِيَادَةِ أَلْفَاظٍ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ ضَعِيفٌ.
In Shu'bah's narration (Abu al-Siddiq) said: I was present with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) when he placed a deceased person in the grave, and he said: "Bismillah wa 'ala millati Rasulillah" (In the name of Allah, and upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)).
