وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، أنبأ سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مَرْحَبٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ: نَزَلَ فِي قَبْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ أَرْبَعَةً ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Marhab (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) went down into the blessed grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). It is as if I am looking at those four men.
