وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ، ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: أَنَسٌ " وُقِّتَ لَنَا فِي قَصِّ الشَّارِبِ، وَتَقْلِيمِ الْأَظْفَارِ، وَنَتْفِ الْإِبْطِ، وَحَلْقِ الْعَانَةِ، أَنْ لَا نَتْرُكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A time limit was set for us for trimming the moustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hair and shaving the pubic hair, that we "should not leave them for more than forty days."
