أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ⦗٤٣⦘ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: " مَشَيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ حَتَّى انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْمَقْبَرَةِ، فَقَامُوا حَتَّى وُضِعَتْ، ثُمَّ جَلَسُوا فَقُلْتُ لِبَعْضِهِمْ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْقَائِمَ مِثْلُ الْحَامِلِ ".
Abu Hazim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I walked in front of the funeral with Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) and al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), until we reached the graveyard. They remained standing until it was set down, then they sat. I spoke to one of them about it, and he said: "The one who stands is like the one who carries."
