It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and said: "Wash her three or five times, or more than that if you see the need, with water and lote-tree leaves, and put camphor, or some camphor, in the last washing; and when you have finished, inform me." She says: When we had finished, we informed him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave us his haqw and said: "Wrap her in it next to her body." By haqw is meant the waist-wrapper.
