أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ النَّصْرُأَبَاذِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو زُهَيْرٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ الدَّوْسِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَوَدُّ أَهْلُ الْعَافِيَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنَّ جُلُودَهُمْ قُرِضَتْ بِالْمَقَارِيضِ مِمَّا يَرَوْنَ مِنْ ثَوَابِ أَهْلِ الْبَلَاءِ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the people who enjoyed health and well-being will wish that their bodies had been cut with scissors, because of the reward they will see given to the people of affliction."
