أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنبأ سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ: " خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَاسْتَسْقَى، وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ، وَقَلَبَ رِدَاءَهُ وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى..
Abbad bin Tamim narrates from his uncle (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out to the prayer ground; he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for rain, faced the qiblah, turned his cloak inside out and prayed two rak'ahs.
