Abu Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Sayyiduna Umar, Sayyiduna Ali and Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) agreed on saying takbir after the morning prayer on the day of Arafah. But the students of Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) would say it until the Asr prayer on the Day of Sacrifice, while Sayyiduna Umar and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) held that the takbirs continue until the Asr prayer on the last of the days of Tashriq.
