أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ: أَخْبَرَكَ حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، " كَانَ يُقَلِّمُ أَظْفَارَهُ وَيَقُصُّ شَارِبَهُ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ ".
(a) Nafi' says that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to clip his nails and trim his moustache every Friday.
(b) It is reported from Abu Ja'far as a mursal narration that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "liked the moustache and nails to be trimmed every Friday."
