أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ الشَّرْقِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ الْمِنْقَرِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ يَعْنِي مِنْبَرَ الْمَدِينَةِ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ جَاءَ مِنْكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was on the pulpit, saying: "When any of you comes to the Friday prayer, let him take a ritual bath (ghusl)."
