Bayhaqi 5578 — Upon whom Friday prayer is obligatory

Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jumu'ah in congregation is obligatory on every Muslim, but it is not obligatory on a slave, a woman, a child or a sick person." Abu Dawud (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) did see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) but did not hear anything from him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Ubayd bin Muhammad al-Ijli narrated it from al-Abbas bin Abd al-Azim and made it connected by mentioning Abu Musa al-Ash'ari in it, but that is not preserved, for others besides al-Abbas also narrated it from Ishaq without mentioning Abu Musa.
