Bayhaqi 5542 — Combining two prayers while travelling

Zayd bin Aslam, Rabi'ah bin Abi Abd al-Rahman, Muhammad bin al-Munkadir and Abu al-Zinad (may Allah have mercy on them), along with others like them, were to appear before al-Walid. They went to al-Walid, and al-Walid had sent for them to ask them about something. These men used to combine Zuhr and Asr after the sun had passed its zenith.
